I am currently studying the Future History Timeline of Robert A. Heinlein and trying to decide where I'd like to insert some stories into his universe. I've even pondered taking a whack at writing one of the stories that is listed in the Timeline that was never published. Of course, this would be a work of fan-fiction, never something to be published commercially. But, if I could pull it off it would be a bit of a coup.
